Bowl

Having a summer-time party? Want to loosen the guests up, and serve something really delicious? Try the following fruit-punch, which I often make on my birthday in July.

In your biggest stainless-steel, pasta-boiling pan make a colorful, pretty and tasty mixture of fresh fruit from the following list, cut or sliced where appropriate:

strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, red/black/white currants, cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, gooseberries

Add: one bottle of red port, one bottle of white wine and one bottle of gin. Let this sit overnight. Fill up your prettiest serving dish or tureen with the fruit-punch and serve in small bowls. You will have to replenish the serving dish as supplies dwindle...this dish is popular!

The sugar and the alcohol work together to give partakers a very pleasant buzz. This is guaranteed the best fruit salad you will ever taste.

See, the bowl is empty...but Andries and Saskia didn't do it all alone!
