Summer Schools, Workshops and Courses
Of course, the Conservatory of Amsterdam is my main teaching gig, and this year I am there quite alot. I will be teaching a Baroque Dance class together with Maria Angad Gaur, as well as a class on the History of Early Music in the 20th Century...and then there are sporadic Irish Set Dancing classes and the inimitable Early Music Movie Night as well!
2006 saw the birth of AIM 1600-1800 (Amsterdam Institute for Music 1600-1800), which will be expanded and repeated next year. Therese de Goede and I cooked up this idea of having a Baroque Institute during the summer months, and it turned out to be a great experience for all involved...we're all looking forward to doing it again in 2007.
